- Kolmanskop :

Agate Bay

A trip to Agate Bay will not take long that the beauty and tranquility retain some places on the beach
The Agate Bay beach stretches for miles between the rocky coast to the left and sand dunes that reach the coast on the right.
On the way back to the city, a surprisingly green valley is a delight for Oryx and Springboks .
In the background the yellow ocher dunes of the Namib: still a scene of great beauty.

- Luderitz Peninsula :

It is possible to have a look at the commercial port in the car, after asking permission from the police station (Security Officer) to the input port (passport required).

A tour of the peninsula is a must.
You can join an organized tour to benefit from the knowledge of the guide in the region.
However this site is perfectly accessible by car standard.
The landscape of this peninsula is simply unique and moon.
A track goes around, stopping at various beaches and landmark, including:

- Dias Point , with a replica of the famous cross erected by the early Portuguese explorers.

- Lighthouse and its peninsula overlooking Halifax island (frequented by seals and penguins).

- Grosse Bucht , the largest beach of the peninsula.

- Second Lagoon , the mark of flamingos at the bottom of the bay where back slowly whales. especially not to enter the restricted area, Sperrgebiet, and stay on the track because all lichen grows extremely fragile.
