Oahera & Craft tradition center

Centre to promote the traditions of the people Nama and their famous tongue click.
The center is run by french, you can discover a store of African art, a children's choir, a donkey cart ride ...
The center is located at the entrance to the city from the C14.

The Namib Rand Nature Reserve

The Namib Rand Nature Reserve, with the 140 000 hectares is one of the largest private reserve of Southern Africa .
From Maltahohe the plud beautiful road through the mountains along the C19 Tsars and the D827 before joining the C27, the entry point of the reserve.
Unique landscape mélent red sand savanna of sight and legendary rock formation, the Namib Rand Nature Reserve is a paradise on earth.
You can also see Oryx , Springboks , Ostriches , Zebras and many other species.
Note nonetheless that access to the reserve is not within the reach of every budget (luxury).

Duwisib Castle

Duwwiseb Castle is on the D826 about 80 km southwest of Maltahohe.
Visit the castle of the German colonial era, built in the early twentieth centuries.
The site is managed by the NWR is paying N$ 50 for entrance fee and N$ 100 you want to camp there.

Sossusvlei and Sesriem

Sossusvlei and Sesriem are two essential and magical places in Namibia.
The entrance to Sesriem is 189 km northwest of Maltahohe (through C19).
