Thus a practically blank country of any urban activity on the landscape.
This absence of human activity thus left a fauna and a flora to his natural state. Assist reasons, the variety of these landscapes.
Our main thing activity is the hike, Namibia being a country in thousand facets, that Could only exceptional etre.
The third point, the safety of the country, for a first journey on the African continent it was an essential point.
But after reflection, it was much more profitable to make the rent of the car in South Africa!! From there, left our idea to make the tour of southern Africa.
b. Choice of the route
Our plane landing in Johannesburg, to cross South Africa from east to west, not we enchanted hardly.
Then we took a plane ticket for Upington, city in the door of Namibia .
After this first cleared up point, our purpose was to make a buckle, to put down the rented car at the airport of Johannesburg!!
For it not 36 miles solutions, to cross Namibia from the bottom up, by trying to see a Maximum.
Then cross the Caprivi Strip and join Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
That would have been all the same it's a pity, of etre if meadows and of not not gone to see the biggest fall to the world!!
Botswana stays in us to be crossed, by car standard, not the choice, needs to remain on roads tarred. But what routes to take?
The delta of Okavango, being the main objective of Botswana, we shall take the western road, the direction Maun.
