Kongola is located in the Caprivi Strip, especially in the Caprivi region in the far north-eastern Namibia.
The city is situated on the road to B8 116km west of Katima Mulilo and 408 km east of Rundu.
The city has about 4,000 people to stay on the banks of the Kwando River.
Kongola has a gas station and a small business but is not connected or the drinkingwater or electricity.
