Located on the B1 road, is the capital of the Rehoboth Baster. 
 The city is well equipped with public infrastructure, Rehoboth has a Hopatal, schools, court and is the dam Oanob 6km west of Rehoboth which supplies drinking water. 
 Rehoboth also has many lodges in and around the city, a tourist office, church, post office, market, bank, petrol station and other businesses.  
 The city is served by the TransNamib Railway line railway Upington - Windhoek.  
 Many travelers from either South or North Rehoboth go through to get to Windhoek or 
  Sossusvlei  , Hardap Dam, the 
  Fish River Canyon  .  
 Rehoboth's economy is mainly based on farming, industry and transportation. 
 The west of the city was occupied by the rich neighborhoods, mixed-skinned, while the east of the city was occupied by the poor, darker skin. 
 Rehoboth is a nice town, but it has few attractions like the Museum of Rehoboth, the hot springs ... 
 And a lot of parks or reserves are close
